Happy Birthday!

I turned 30 today. For such a sad occasion, we sure had a good time celebrating it!

We started the day with a yummy breakfast at Ihop. Its possible this should be a birthday breakfast tradition. Sophie at half of my breakfast and then some of Brian's pancakes.

Houston's Museum of Natural Science has a new dinosaur exhibit hall. Its hard to know what to expect, but I was really impressed with the collection of dinosaurs.

Then we went home for a Happy Birthday nap. It was lovely.

My birthday dinner was at... Outback Steakhouse! Somehow this restaurant slipped off our to-eat list and when we were talking about dinner options, I realized we hadn't eaten at Outback in two years! Something we remedied tonight... Brian and I had our orders ready before we got in the car to go to the restaurant. I would have a picture to show you of our wonderful food, but we were too busy enjoying it to take a picture.

The girls made cute cards and wished me "happy birthday" numerous times during the day.

It has been a really good day. I'm grateful and happy.
